Zoom for Squares XXXV

December 23, 2020: Zoom for the Holidays (BYOEN)

35. Zoom for Squares XXXV (December 23, 2020 -- Zoom for the Holidays).mp3

December 23Β  of 2020 was, of course, Festivus -- but it was also the last Wednesday before Christmas. Similar to other holiday-adjacent sets, I tried to avoid having wall-to-wall holiday music (much of which is somewhere between smarmy, superfluous, and execrable), so there's about an hour and ten minutes during the main three-hour block that isn't holiday-themed. Obviously, the flip side of that is a decent helping of Christmas music (and a few Hanukkah tunes). The last number before the postgame stuff is my favorite Christmas song and the best Christmas song outside of a hymnal. (Do not @ me because I'm absolutely right.) There's also a Kwanzaa song I stumbled onto; I wouldn't necessarily recommend dancing to it, but was too good not to share during the main block.
