For this week's playlist, I wanted to acknowledge Thanksgiving—not the whole settler-colonialist aspect, mind you—but the more banal theme attached to the holiday, namely, gratitude. Like the other holiday week playlists I assembled while doing Zoom for Squares, I tried to avoid overdoing it with Thanksgiving allusions; the requisite birthday acknowledgements proved helpful in that regard.
